Never before had the combined turnover of these companies reached such a high level, driven by the gradual easing of monetary turmoil across the continent and the strong performance of certain commodities. Jeune Afrique’s 2026 ranking of the 500 African Champions shows that the continent’s largest companies have a combined turnover of 783 billion dollars.
